How Can I Help?
We need your awesomeness!
Meadow PTA is always looking for volunteers to help out whenever you may have a few spare moments. Most committee volunteers give approximately 10-20 hours per school year!
Without a robust volunteer effort, our PTA won't be able to continue doing all the great things it's been able to do for our kids, our school, and our community. Please take a look below and consider taking on a leadership role.
Contact us at [email protected] to volunteer for one (or more!) of these positions, or to learn more!
Thanks,
Your 2020-2021 Meadow PTA Officers
Or you can use the SignUpGenius link to volunteer to be part of the different programs and events the PTA supports.

- Reflections Committee - help make posters, we need a display made for the front foyer, promote the program, recognition, putting together awards, help get judges
- Red Ribbon Week Committee - Join us in our MISSION to help keep kids drug-free, help plan Spirit Days and other activities
- Newsletter - manage and lead the content of a monthly PTA newsletter
- Volunteer Coordinator - recruit and manage volunteer leads
- Book Fair Committee - help with set up, time slots to help during operation hours, help determine contests, teacher requests/preview; at this time we are looking into a virtual fair for later in the 2020 year
- White Ribbon Week – this is a new program that was unveiled last year right before COVID hit; it's purpose is to is a fun-filled elementary school program that helps kids and families make healthy choices in media and technology.
- STEM/STEAM - this is something that parents have asked to see more activities and integration of this for their students. With online learning and shortened learning days we would love to look at possibilities to support a program. But we need your help and ideas to get this going!
- Male Engagement Team – The "P" in PTA stands for "parent." Our male care givers have are integral and add so many positive benefits in their students’ education and in PTA. From the National PTA program "Watch D.O.G.S." to others having dads in the classroom or defining ways to support the school is imperative https://www.pta.org/home/run-your-pta/Diversity-Equity-Inclusion/supporting-multicultural-membership-growth/Male-Engagement
- At Home Learning Parent Support Group Coordinator – We are mindful of our families that have chosen for At Home Distance Learning. We want to make sure you feel included at Meadow and know that if you have any ideas on how to make that happen please let us know! This coordinator would work with At Home Learning families and make sure they have a support group. This person will also be able to reach out to us and let us know how we can support as well! "We're All in this Together!"
